Tomcat Trumpet has was dubbed ‘Chicago’s Most Vibrant Trumpet Player’ on WCIU Channel 26 ‘The U’ during his live feature. His dynamic performances have been seen at some of the largest stages in the country such as Spring Awakening Music Festival, Electric Forest Music Festival, OkeeChobee Music Festival, Prysm Nightclub, Primary Nightclub, The Aragon Ballroom, Park West Theater,The historic Green Mill Cocktail Lounge, REV Ultra Lounge in Minneapolis, The Willis Show Bar in Detroit, Wander Rooftop in Cancun, and many many more. Tom is the son of Broadway trumpet legend Tim Burke and grew up attending Broadway shows and watching his father play in the most prestigious venues and groups which has inspired him more than words can describe. Tomcat is creating his own unique path with the instrument while following in his fathers footsteps. In 2019 he joined Treblemonsters, an artist agency and management company based out of Chicago which has taken his career to new heights. Tom is also the creator and host of his variety show 'The Tomcat Trumpet Experience' which features poets, comedians, visual artists, magicians, bands, DJ's and much much more. The show has been running 3 years strong at his monthly residency at AliveOne Chicago on the last wednesday of every month.
